The show, The Book of Mormon is penned by the hugely talented creative team of long running comedy 'South Park' Trey Parker and Matt Stone, along with Robert Lopez who is also the co-creator of rib ticking funny hit musical Avenue Q. The award winning show The Book of Mormon is already acclaimed both by the masses and critics for its gripping story and sterling performances.

In the year 2011, the show made its debut on Broadway at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre and went on becoming an overnight success. The show earned rave reviews from press across the globe followed by a sensational sell out US National Tour.

The story of The Book of Mormon is set against the backdrop of Salt Lake City, where two Mormon Elders have been sent to Uganda for missionary duties. On their arrival in a small African village, they have to face a lot of hostility and their own beliefs have been challenged. The hilarious musical features all the struggle, they have to face terms with their mission, friendships and relationships. The mesmerizing show is a superb combination of chartbusting musical score, along with the combination of witty book and fanciful choreography. This is truly one of the most memorable London productions featuring Gavin Creel and Jared Gertner star as Elder Price and Elder Cunningham.

Both of them have also played the roles on the US National tour and have been joined by a talented ensemble, which includes Alexa Khadime as Nabulungi. The production is directed by Casey Nicholaw and Trey Parker, with Musical Direction by Stephen Oremus. If you are ardent fan of South Park then this is a must watch show for you, as it has both satire as well as crude humour. The show is a brilliant amalgamation of great script and wonderful musical score. The show remains to be one of the most loved and hottest tickets in town.

The show is not recommended for children due to its frequent use of offensive language and adult themes. There is frequent usage of incredibly bad language, and few people might find the content offensive.
